Year 2099. For several decades, the two corporations, Antaeus and Frontier, are at war with each other.

Destructive battles rage around the deposits of the new mineral discovered after the events are known as “the first rain” - a global meteorite bombardment/shower. When the dust settled, glowing crystals with an exceptional energy generating power were found within the craters.

The main weapon for both corporations are the remote combat vehicles, created as part of the project known as Tanki X. Each of the vehicles differs in maneuverability, destructive power, and production speed. Controlling these machines is more than a profession, it’s an art, the reason why only the best pilots are allowed to control them.

Today, these remote war machines, controlled by the best mercenaries on the planet, are fighting for control over the most valuable mineral deposits. Some joined the conflict due to the ideals of the faction they choose to fight for, others joined for the sake of crystals or to find glory on the battlefield.

But the war is only beginning. What will you choose to fight for?

Corporations

An association of international corporations, which for a hundred years fought for control of the monopoly over the production and distribution of energy resources using both economic methods and physical force.

A union of companies representing the remnants of the international energy production and distribution market. Private military companies form the backbone of the organization. Their services were no longer needed after the creation of the monopoly.

Tank “Х”

The Firebird is the key to urban warfare. It proved its effectiveness when Antaeus subdued the islands and metropolitan areas of the Pacific. This turret knows its stuff: set fire to your enemy's tank, and then move on. The burning napalm will devour enemy equipment without need for any outside support. Heavy tanks will have no chance. Does it seem like the weapon is taking too long to recharge? You can still shoot burning napalm at the enemy even from half-filled fuel tanks.

High-speed "X" Tanks were used effectively during the first battles for Iran. Then the Freeze, a commanding weapon that was able to establish control on the battlefield, appeared. "Do not let the enemy move and escape from your range of fire" is the basic principle of this freon weapon, which is able to slow down and freeze your opponent's equipment.

IsidaHealing effect

Isida mobile repair units have been used to repair worn-out equipment working in the crystal deposits under extreme conditions. These units take advantage of the restorative properties of crystals, which can be used to make repairs to equipment after they receive damage. The first battle for the crystal processing facilities showed that Isida units are not only able to successfully recover mining equipment, but they can also be used to strip armor from tanks when correctly configured.

The Twins turret was one of the first guns of the future produced by Antaeus. It was created using the crystals that fell to earth in meteor showers. The double-barrel plasma cannon is a tactical battlefield weapon that is perfect for suppressing enemy fire. Do not let the enemy find their bearings and aim during a heavy bombardment. This is an indispensable weapon for Blitzkrieg warfare.

The latest development of the red corporation, Ricochet, became the answer to the Twins. Trapped inside a magnetic field, the balls of plasma are able to bounce off obstacles. The weapon's sensors accurately determine when they come in contact with the plating of an enemy tank, and only then do they release their payload. When your enemy can no longer hide from projectile fire in confined urban spaces behind bends in the road or in tunnels, the chance that they will escape is much reduced.

It is a reliable and simple weapon. It is the AK-47 in the tank turrets world. Smoky has proven itself to be a useful weapon in all types of battles. This turret is not the most perfect weapon, but it will make your tank competitive under any conditions.

The accurate and fast-firing Vulcan turret was Frontier's first line of defense during its first battles. Its stabilizers work perfectly when you are taking counter fire from the enemy. It is just the weapon for medium range fire when waging high-speed, Blitzkrieg warfare. It is imperative, however, to avoid overheating so that you do not damage your hull.

The Thunder turret was invented to eliminate the tank armies of the most modern Asian states, when Antaeus was ready to announce that it had completely taken over the world. "X" Tanks underwent a baptism of fire at a time when there were still far fewer of them than the previous generation of tanks. Under these conditions, the Thunder turret provided some assurance that the new tanks would be able to survive. The Thunder turret can be used to strike a group of enemies at once using explosive shells. The quick recharge rate ensures that you will achieve a quick and decisive victory.

The Shaft is a super-accurate weapon that was created by Frontier for waging positional battles over the mountain passes of Latin America. Its sniper fire mode and the ability to conduct effective short range battles make the Shaft the centerpiece of any strategy for "winning by quality". As long as the engineers at Antaeus do not copy this innovation by dismantling it from a captured enemy tank.

Wasp

This hull was specifically designed to cater to the needs of private armies around the world. The Wasp makes short work of old-style tanks, and it is also a valuable tool to fighting modern wars. It can quickly cover distances, and it is easily able to escape enemy fire. It is designed to intercept and engage a cornered enemy in a Blitzkrieg-style battle. This hull poorly resists blows and can even flip over when hit by heavy shells. But it will faithfully serve those that can avoid enemy fire.

It was developed by Antaeus to effectively promote their "X" Tanks on battlefields around the world. Hornets can appear right in front of the enemy's nose at lightning speed and smash their position. This hull can withstand direct hits and still stay on track, but it is not good for performing quick maneuvers on a dime

Hunter

The Hunter is the gold standard for all "X" Tanks. This was the first hull to go into mass production. It is widely used to this day. This is the first generation tank shell. It represents an attempt to reach an effective compromise between armor and maneuverability. The Hunter is good for when you need to fight and do not need to return fire.

This hull was created during a war that was reaching a stalemate. A tank was needed that could break through the stagnating situation on the front, where winning tactics were needed. This hull is the "universal tactical unit", representing the second generation of "X" Tanks. It is tool that can be used to successfully achieve all tasks on the battlefield. For a long time the Viking formed the basis for bonds between elite professional tank operators.

Titan

This technological breakthrough comes from the Frontier laboratories. It can serve as the main component outfitting an invasion force of tanks. Titans are sent into the meat-grinding mayhem of conflicts in order to turn the tide of battle. The titanium alloy enriched with crystals guarantees that the hull can remain cool through the scorching heat of battle and survive.

When Antaeus transformed the war into a struggle to dominate and hold territory, its plants began to produce the Dictator. Its multi-layer armor made of crystalline alloys and solid dimensions make Dictator noticed. A tank with this kind of hull needs only one thing: the ability to sustain impacts and return fire.

The Mammoth is the product of a new era of war and disasters. This is the answer to the devastating destructive power of the elements and the new types of weapons that have been introduced. The Mammoth is the cornerstone of any defense and the starting point of every major offensive. It does not need speed or agility. It can take a punch while holding its ground. It will always prevail.

Sandbox

This training site was once part of a network of training bases used by the central Asian resistance. When the forces of Antaeus began to occupy the region, they were able to seize this base first without a fight, since the rebels had retreated to more secure positions.
For a long time the "Sandbox" training base was used to train recruits before heading to the front. From here recruits from the greenest of the operators of "X" Tanks were trained and sent to the various hot spots of conflict. Over time crystals that were won in battles all across the region were sent here.
After Frontier's invasion, the war in Central Asia acquired heated up. The commanders of Antaeus were fully aware of the situation that the Central Asian resistance had once found themselves in. Despite its logistical convenience, this base could not be effectively defended or retained over the long term. The "Sandbox" soon began to be pass from side to side. It eventually became a section of the front, whereas before it was only the gateway to frontline service.

Area-159

Year 2101. The "Frontier" forces would've never found out about this underground complex, code-named "Area-159", if not for the data they've accidentally intercepted during the battle for West Prime. This new location turned out to be a secret "Antaeus" laboratory that was designed to test the newly developed and advanced Tanki X technology. Every new tank had to go through this check and calibration.
But "Antaeus" did a huge mistake, by leaving the facility designed to test the field dispersion, unprotected. The "Frontier" engineers have hacked into the system and re-calibrated the teleportation devices, which helped them bring their own forces into the enemy's base, in an attempt to obtain the rest of the secret technologies. The laboratory was turned into a battlefield

Silence

"Silence” is a prop point that was built on the territory of a thermal power plant. It was later purchased by a private military corporation, sponsored by Antaeus. Very soon, they started to coordinate operations with the use of the first X tanks prototypes, using the production complex as a cover. As soon as Frontier made their appearance on the map, the owners of the “Silence” complex tried to switch sides. But Antaeus was quick to take action and cool down the rebellion. The power plant became one of Antaeus main points in the region, where scientists in underground laboratories, continued to test crystals on soldiers and equipment.
But the rich deposits of crystals and the knowledge hidden within the labs, couldn’t keep Frontier away. The base has soon become a conflict zone and took the status of a hot spot.

Moon Silence

The “Antaeus” corporation was soon to expand their search for energy resources on other planets. An experimental base was built, in which the gravity was simulating the one on the Moon. This facility was helping test the X tanks in space conditions and low gravity. Later, the first colony on the Moon was built using the same blueprints “Silence” was built on.

Rio

South America has always been wracked by conflict, but the outbreak of war between Antaeus and Frontier meant that the intensity of fighting was ratcheted up even more. Frontier chose the Latin American region as one of the starting points of their activities.
Long before the invasion of the monopoly's enemies, Rio was the center of this very rich region. This city became one of the aggregators of valuable resources from across the entire continent. The first large batches of crystals were sent from here to the developed regions. The commanders of Frontier decided to create an important base of operations here.
In response to the enemy's actions, Antaeus undertook all possible measures. It curtailed all logistical processes and dismantled companies. It mined the approaches to the city and evacuated the entire population. This did not prevent the transformation of Rio into the next hot spot of war. Frontier needed a strategic position in the region, and Antaeus could do nothing to prevent their competitor from consolidating their presence there. Hence, the war continues.

Ares

The construction of the first Martian polygon range called “Ares”, was ordered by the Head of the “Frontier” corporation and was an ultra classified object. It happened in 2102 when he realized that “Antaeus” have managed to gain a solid foothold on Moon Silence.
Unfortunately, it did not bring the expected results, as there were no X-crystal deposits in the immediate vicinity. However, they did find their luck when they’ve started searching for deposits on other areas of the planet.
The huge scale of “Ares”, allowed them to use the base both as a warehouse for X-crystals and as a laboratory used to synthesize X-crystals into Blue crystals. The base turned into a secret minerals trading center among factions, that wasn’t controlled by “Antaeus”. Of course, a black market of this scale can’t remain unnoticed for too long, the enemy tanks were soon spotted on the horizon.

Kungur

Kungur is a town, a throw back to the formative years of the Antaeus monopoly. This area has long been considered to be an important position by the warring sides, since it was frequently hit by crystal storms, which became a frequent occurrence after meteor showers. East of Kungur was the epicenter of the dangerous anomaly that threatened the city.
But a large deposit of crystals was discovered less than a year after the storm dissipated, and it turned out that Kungur was the closest logistical center to the source of valuable minerals. Frontier immediately sent a battle group of forces, but in the city it ran into its rival.
Thus, the fate of the nearby deposits of crystals was determined: the side that could capture Kungur would also win control of the deposit.

Massacre

These vast spaces in the middle of the former United States were seemingly unremarkable: rolling plains dimpled by craters that were left by meteorite showers. Indeed, for some time no one had thought it worthwhile to control such a vast blank space. That was until Frontier's satellite discovered a gigantic deposit of crystals below the earth's surface.
It turned out that the specific conditions of the local soil allowed meteorites containing valuable minerals to burrow deeply into the ground. For a long time the deposits grew unnoticed.
Now Frontier could no longer neglect such a valuable territory, and it dispatched a contingent of forces to the region. Watching the actions of their enemy, the commanders of Antaeus also quickly realized what was going on. This is how a new front of the war opened up in North America.

Iran

The Frontier installed their crystal production facility at the heart of the scorching desert, thinking that they could keep it hidden. For some time, their plan was successful. However, hiding the Iranian deposit behind the sandstorms was not as efficient as they were hoping. Antaeus eventually discovered their secret facility and immediately began dispatching a large number of their forces from Europe into the desert region. The Frontier, in an attempt to defend their deposit, were forced to recall their army from Northern America, starting the long and exhausting Iranian conflict.

West Prime

The West Prime Complex is the largest enterprise for the extraction and processing of crystals that was founded by Antaeus in the territory of Russia, west of the Ural Mountains. But the facility was only destined to function successfully for less than a year.
Crystal growth had to be continuously stimulated in order to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the complex.
As a result, development of the field spiraled out of control, and with it the climate around the complex started to catastrophically change.
A localized storm formed over the region, which caused Antaeus to stop extracting minerals.
When the situation in the region was able to stabilize and its owner returned, it discovered an expeditionary force sent from Frontier, which had decided to assert their rights to West Prime.

Repin

It has been 5 years since the battle for West Prime, and two years since Frontier finished the construction of their base on Mars. Despite part of the recent battles taking place on distant planets, Earth remains the main battlefield.
The economic giant Antaeus is building up defenses around their objects in which crystals are extracted and processed. They have tank carriers patrolling the air above the territories they control, ready to provide aid to any of their bases. Their patrolling trajectory allows them to immediately respond and teleport tanks to important outposts in that region, should the enemy attempt to overtake any of them. The first of these ships carry the name of the Antaeus leader, Vladimir Repin.
In 2104, Frontier managed to calculate the patrolling trajectory of the “Repin” tank carrier and started tracking the ship 24/7. Despite the fact that Frontier’s first large-scale attack on the ship was unsuccessful, they keep attacking the carrier with small platoons. Frontier’s plan is built around the usage of the jump pads on the ship, the ones Antaeus are using to rapidly transport cargo and tanks aboard the carrier.

Arabian Night

The desert conflict between the two corporations has reached the boiling point. Neither sandstorms nor darkness and cold could hold them back from attacking each other. Both Antaeus and Frontier, with varying success, tried to catch each other by surprise in order to secure the hot spot. But the wars are won by soldiers, and in order to maintain the troops, both corporations had machines mining the surrounding crystal deposits. That was until Antaeus blasted the access points to the mining tunnels occupied by Frontier, thus blocking their access to the mineral. This only made things worse, as it has made the Frontier troops determined more than ever to exterminate the enemy for good.
