Update: General Chat
Here are the changes that were implemented with the update we released today.
General chat:
- The icon that will open the general chat is in the bottom left corner of the main menu.
- The general chat also allows you to chat in squads and in private.
- Clicking on a player’s nickname in the general chat will open a private message tab. The same works for players in your friend’s list.
- Additionally, you can private message a player, by writing the command “/w Nickname” then enter or space, that will open a private message tab.
- The squad chat will become available once you are in or have created a squad.
- The chat has a swear filter, however, you can block a player and don’t see his messages again. Unfortunately, for now, you can only block players in battle, but we will soon have this function implemented in the general chat as well.
Rules:
- We want to remind you about the Rules[tankix.com] of the general chat. It shares the same the forum, social media, discord, and the battle chat does. We would like to ask you to avoid spam, offensive language, offensive behavior towards other players, and flood. Please respect your fellow tankers.
- The chat has a swear filter, however, you can block a player and don’t see his messages again. Unfortunately, for now, you can only block players in battle, but we will soon have this function implemented in the general chat as well.
- We would like to ask you, if possible, use the function above before reporting or complaining about a player.
- You can report chat violators in this DEDICATED TOPIC[en.forum.tankix.com] on our Forum. Please attach a screenshot with proof, to your report.
Balance Changes
These changes were made earlier this week.
- Freeze turret damage was reduced from 540-760 to 485-685;
- EMP wave radius was reduced from 25-30-35 to 20-25-30;
- The cooling effect of the Temperature Block module was increased from 2-4 %/sec to 4-6%/sec.
